AC's Distinguished Alumni Award

Submit Your Nominations for Allendale Columbia School's Distinguished Alumni Award!

Please know that the Distinguished Alumni Award (DAA) nomination form is open year-round. All submissions will be reviewed in February, and the award will be presented each June.

NOMINATION GUIDELINES 
The Allendale Columbia School Distinguished Alumni Award was established in 2009. This honor is presented to alumni who have brought distinction at the highest levels to Allendale Columbia School through professional, community, or philanthropic achievements.

Eligibility
  • The nominee must have attended Allendale, Columbia, or Allendale Columbia School.
  • Current trustees and school employees are not eligible to receive the award.

Criteria
  • Nominee has reached significant personal or professional achievement within their career or community.
  • Preference will be shown to the nominee who has maintained a relationship with Allendale Columbia and supported the school, including volunteer involvement.
  • The nominee must be available to accept the award in-person at AC’s Reunion Weekend.

Of Note
  • Nominations may be resubmitted in subsequent years, but nominations will be carried over automatically. 
  • Nominations will be accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year and reviewed each February. 
  • The award recipient will be chosen by the Alumni Association Board. The Alumni Association Board has the right to choose not to award the Distinguished Alumni Award if they see fit

Format
  • Completed nominations for the 2025 award are due by 5:00 p.m. on February 11th, 2025.
  • All nominations must be completed on this official nomination form.
  • Anyone can nominate, and self-nominations are permitted.
